Hi! 👋 My name is Stefan, aka Stevy, and I‘m an independent comic book author and artist based in Graz, Austria!
Currently, I’m working on finishing DRIVE-THRU, a one-shot comic that serves as a prequel to the long running series Team 4Pac. My goal is to launch it with a book presentation/reading and get it into stores in 2026!
A little bit about myself
I‘m into visual storytelling, art, beauty, music, theater and good food. I like to run, do yoga and go swimming. More and more, I prioritize taking care of myself, my body and my need for community. I love going to concerts of my favorite artists and seeing the world through a different lens at the cinema. But I also like to lose myself in spreadsheets and code, automating all the things.
These days, my inspiration mostly comes from movies, music and my own life experiences. I‘m turning everything I‘ve learned, from feedback I’ve gotten, into new stories that are more accessible, and yet completely reflective of my own vision. I‘m writing again, writing down a lot. Feels like more than ever before!
I’ve been struggling with writer‘s block, on and off, for a long time. In a way, I still am. But in 2025, in so many areas of my life, I’m learning that I am actually good enough. And so my art can be, as well. I‘m okay with not crafting masterpieces, as long as my stuff’s gets out there and reaches someone. I‘m starting to let go of perfectionism and wanting to do everything on my own. Being kind to myself in my creative work is a road I‘m just starting on. It feels so crucial to me, because being creative is such a big part of who I am!
To stop creating wouldn’t really be an option for me. If the ideas can‘t get out, it would just make my head explode 😅 I’m always looking forward to finishing something, so I can get to the next project. But my aspiration, my hope is to inspire others to express themselves creatively as well.
